Junior Video Creative

Salary- £20-£22k (dependent on experience) 37 Hours per week

The role requires the ability to both follow a creative brief and use your initiative to come to the best creative outcome. We work from concept creation through to delivery, therefore we encourage creative initiative.

The majority of our projects require a broad skillset, not pinned down to just video editing or motion graphics but usually a blend of both. Ideally the candidate will have a broad skillset across the Adobe Creative suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).

The day-to-day role involves editing video content, creating titles and motion graphic/ 2d content.

The main software used will be Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Creative and Production Directors and will be able to take a creative brief and deliver the work to a high standard and (usually) to strict deadlines.

We have a small but multi-skilled and supportive team who will be helping you develop your skills.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Taking the brief/plans and creating the required video content. Projects will be allocated in a typical studio fashion, whereby one of the account handlers will brief you into the project, supplying the brief, storyboard and assets etc. plus the timescales and deadline. It’s vital that the candidate can interpret the brief and ensure they understand what’s required before starting the work.
  • Being a team player: working collaboratively with the team, but also being able to deliver something on your own.
  • Being bold in coming up with ideas: At times you will be expected to bring your own ideas and creativity to the execution of a project, whilst at other times you will need to deliver content as per a detailed plan- making sure that brand guidelines are adhered to.
  • Communicating: Talking to the rest of team to share ideas, ask for help and keeping the Creative and Production Director suitably updated.
  • Learning: Commit to learning and developing on the way, and hone your skills on the job.

You will be working as part of our team, ensuring that work is completed to a very high standard within the given timescales. We expect your standards to be as high as ours.
