Sarat Pediredla

After putting his early dreams of becoming a brain surgeon behind him, Sarat moved into software development. As a self-confessed ‘terrible employee’, he worked behind a desk as a developer in agencies for many years dreaming of going out on his own.

When he co-founded hedgehog lab in 2007 the iPhone had just launched and apps weren’t really a massive market. As time passed, he realised that web development was becoming a commodity and that you needed to specialise in something specific to have a differentiated proposition. He saw mobile as a huge growth market and pivoted into this area in 2011… and hasn’t looked back ever since!

In this podcast, YourFilm directors Matthew Newman and Marc Runkee chat to Sarat about his early ambitions, his personal journey, being LinkedIn famous and the meteoric rise of hedgehog lab!

Any questions for us? We'd love to chat!
